For 2024, we’ve moved our conference to the brand-new, flagship 5-star Dorsett Kai Tak Kowloon Hotel in the heart of Hong Kong’s future entertainment destination: Kai Tak Sports Park.

Kai Tak was historically the point of first contact with Hong Kong, and with all the new developments, this area is now considered the city’s social hub. The Dorsett Kai Tak Kowloon Hotel is situated next to the city’s new 50,000-seat stadium – home to Hong Kong’s major sporting events and concerts. The area also offers state-of-the-art sports facilities, new shopping and dining options, and easy access to Hong Kong’s CBD via the new Shatin to Central link, just 15-20 minutes away.

Features of the Dorsett Kai Tak include an outdoor rooftop bar and pool, a 100-square-metre fitness centre, and fully-equipped event spaces which will host The Marketplace and all conference sessions of TheTicketingBusiness ASIA 2024.

For #TAS24, we have created an ‘all-in’ international delegate package which includes a full conference pass, all social events, and two nights at the HQ hotel.

We have big ambitions for this new Asia meeting – so we started with the BIG names. We are delighted to announce three key partners for TheTicketingBusiness ASIA 2023 in Hong Kong on 19-20 October.

Taking the lead is the most-anticipated sports and entertainment destination in Asia – Kai Tak Sports Park – as our future host event partner.

The founding event partnership further extends to two of the key partners behind this landmark development: ASM Global – the world’s leading venue operator – and Populous, the world’s leading venue design practice.

Key executives from all three organisations will be in attendance at TheTicketingBusiness ASIA (#TAS23) this October, with its experts joining key panels and breakout discussions. Furthermore, these partners will have access and visibility across the event lifecycle – through related marketing and the new, regional TheTicketingBusiness ASIA e-newsletter.

Kai Tak Sports Park will be a showcase for the very latest in fan experience, venue technology and operations.

“Bringing people together is what everyone in the sports and entertainment sector does for a living. And as our sector restarts and reinvents itself after the losses, shutdowns and closures of the pandemic, sourcing best practice from the best in our business makes so much sense,” says Ian Nuttall, Founder, TheTicketingBusiness. “We are honoured to partner with not only the most exciting new venue in the region but to also have alongside the world’s leading venue operating group and the sector’s global leader in venue design and architecture.

He adds: “The key to our sector’s re-imagining is the sharing of ideas and inspiration to create safer, more creative and ever more engaging guest experiences. We are very happy to be sharing the lessons from these giants of the sector as we build TheStadiumBusiness ASIA into THE regional meeting for our sector.”

“Never has it been more important for the industry to come together to share ideas, innovate and redefine industry best practice,” stated John Sharkey, Project Director from Kai Tak Sports Park. “Kai Tak Sports Park will be a showcase for the very latest in fan experience, venue design and operations. We look forward to supporting this event to gather the region’s sports and entertainment leaders in Hong Kong as this mega-project moves from construction to operation.”

This initial agreement forms part of a strategic plan to develop the meeting over the years in Hong Kong, growing as the key elements of Kai Tak Sports Park open their doors.

Join us in Hong Kong on 17-18 October as we explore the future of design, operations and technology for Asia’s sports and entertainment venues – only at TheTicketingBusiness ASIA 2023 (#TAS23).

Launched in 2013, our European meeting TheTicketingBusiness Forum is the sector’s only high-level networking and knowledge exchange event designed to address the specific needs of key executives engaged in the development and implementation of entertainment ticketing solutions. Drawing a crowd of over 550 delegates from 40+ countries, the Forum is now the world’s leading ticketing business meeting.

We’ve been asked by many friends and partners in the industry to take its successful event formula (= conference + content x networking) to other markets. Hence the launch of TheTicketingBusiness ASIA in 2019.

Post-pandemic, we are delighted to confirm our second edition of TheTicketingBusiness ASIA. This meeting will bring together for the first time Asia’s arts, attractions, sport and entertainment ticketing sector’s key thinkers, leaders and disruptors.

We look forward to hosting you in Hong Kong for what promises to be another landmark event.
